A Simple Request...

I would like to protest against the usage of the word "tribe." Its completely fucking racist and colonial. There's no arguing against me on this one. You'll never win.

I'm sick of reading texts that proclaim to be "groundbreaking," yet, they only fall back into the same racist, classist, hegemonic, colonialist language of boring white historians that leave people of color out of the context of American Civilization in general. We really need to rethink how we "other" people with language. Whether it's consciously done or not, this needs to end.

So my friends officially think I've lost it. Maybe I have. But they don't understand my "new winter hobby", Tiny Terrarium building, is a joke. I think they're cute and hilarious. I found something interesting while surfing You Tube today. Some people have probably seen this before, but I've just noticed it myself. It's a video about Jay-Z, Kanye West and Nas' Masonic "satanic" practices. This person takes an "in depth look", if you will, into the symbolism surrounding the pop culture figures.

But honestly, after watching this video, I did find it enlightening into these so-called "symbolic meanings", (I honestly don't know a damn thing about the Masons), but they really didn't tell me anything I didn't already think about these two fucks, which is that Jay-Z and Kanye are all about money, power and fame.
