Jim Jones + Twitter = Brilliance

Everytime I catch a glimpse of Jim Jones and his vernacular in my live tweet feed, it makes me gleeful. And I bring prime examples of why Jim Jones makes my day brighter, one tweet at a time:

Possible Letoya Luckett Hit???

Letoya Luckett just released a video for "Regret." I've been hearing this song for a while, and clearly, in comparison to her other singles released off her album "Lady Love," this is the hit. Let's hope this single helps make some moves in her career.

As I would say, this has the makings and possibilities of becoming the new "hood love anthem." If you're wondering what I mean by that, check out this song for reference:

And My Love Grows Deeper....

Here's a video that helps affirm my love for Ms. Minaj. She kills it on the Cypher. The men are terrible, and who's really been searching for Joe Budden since he disappeared after that one hit nonsense "pump it up" in 2001: no one. I don't find this video necessary to watch after 1:01, but view at your own risk. I warned you of the wack male rappers that come after Nicki Minaj.

My Love for Nicki Minaj...

Obviously the problematic imagery and thought floating through the hip hop community and rap music, but for some reason, I love Nicki Minaj. She's not politically correct herself, but she is bad as hell. And hilarious. Watch as she holds her own:

Beyonce....

Okay, not really much to be said about Beyonce anymore, she's just Beyonce...or is there?

I thought that until I heard this song, which had me really frustrated, possibly because I was a huge Destiny's Child fan since elementary school, and loved Beyonce in the beginning of her solo career(before she plastered her name on every endorsement deal she could get her hands on).

I'm not trying to hate on homegirl; she can do whatever she likes, but recently I heard a song called "Case" that leaked from her new album that is apparently coming out soon, and it's bothers me because it sounds like every other hip hop song on the radio right now. She has way too much vocal talent to have her voice drowned out by a million fucking beats and synths. It's a song I would expect Cassie to make.

Occult Practices???

I found something interesting while surfing You Tube today. Some people have probably seen this before, but I've just noticed it myself. It's a video about Jay-Z, Kanye West and Nas' Masonic "satanic" practices. This person takes an "in depth look", if you will, into the symbolism surrounding the pop culture figures.

But honestly, after watching this video, I did find it enlightening into these so-called "symbolic meanings", (I honestly don't know a damn thing about the Masons), but they really didn't tell me anything I didn't already think about these two fucks, which is that Jay-Z and Kanye are all about money, power and fame. I refuse to take either one of them seriously. But check out this video, form your own opinion, and feel free to comment and enlighten my ass.

One love.
